TDA4VM: Boot from SD card if SDCD pin not connected

Part Number: TDA4VM

For a custom board, similar to https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/processors-forum/994425/tda4vm-disconnect-the-sdcd-line-the-board-can-not-boot-from-sd-card/, SDCD pin is not available due to pin conflict with PCIE2_CLKREQn.

Is it still possible to boot from the SD card without SDCD pin? Can the ROM bootloader handle this situation? Perhaps by selecting "Media=2" (SD, rather than autodetect) in the MMCSD boot parameter table, Table 4-65. in TRM version B?

The primary bootmode on the board will be OSPI and SD card is secondary, for development.

Thanks,

Jelena
