UART peripheral

Hello,

I want to use UART1. I have searched the internet for examples and i found this library:

software-dl.ti.com/.../_u_a_r_t_8h.html

But i am not able to see where the UART peripheral is selected... I want to use UART1. Can someone tell me where or how the UART peripheral to be used should be defined?

Hi Frandua,

Here's the UART documentation for the AM437:

This will allow you to adjust the UART instance when calling UART_open:

UART_open(UART_INSTANCE, &params);
