TDA2PXEVM: VisionSDk v3.8 xdc and bios version

Hello,

I am using VisionSDK v3.8 to run application on TDA2P. This version by default uses bios_6_46_06_00 and xdctools_3_32_01_22_core.

Our client is curious to know that can we use the latest available bios and xdc versions ? Is it necessary to use the default versions provided in VisionSDK package should be used.

We would like to know the need and feasibility of using latest versions or is the given support for xdc and bios is sufficient.

    Hi Dipti,

    The XDC and BIOS are not independent by themselves, you will have to match other dependencies in the system including the compiler. They are listed in the documentation of XDC and BIOS.

    Therefore it is recommended that you use the versions that are provided as part of the SDK unless you are planning to run through thorough testing at your end to confirm if it meets your requirements.
