AM5718: DTS in U-Boot

Hi,

We are developing a custom board based on AM5718 and are using ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-05.03.00.07.
We made changes related to our custom board in kernel DTS files and our board booted successfully.

I have a doubt. Which DTS file is used by U-Boot? We have not changed any DTS files for u-boot. Then how is it
working ? Is it doing the needed initialisations and hardware setup in its source code itself without using any DTS files?

If DTS is used,is DTB file added in u-boot image itself?

All the dts files are under the u-boot directory: arch/arm/dts/

All the am57xx related files begin with am57*

As long as the DDR is the same and not many pin mux changes u-boot will boot.

It does use dts(Device Tree source) files which are compiled into a dtb(Device Tree Binary).

Yes DTB is part of u-boot image itself.

Thanks for your quick response. I have one more question - Is there any quick method to find the DTS files used in u-boot for AM5718?

Yes. Start with arch/arm/dts/am571x-idk.dts & track through the included dtsi files.
