Linux/DRA744: Uboot some time will booting fail

Hi,

I have booting the DRA744 on uboot process.

Some time will stop the boot process that I have check the power sequence and power of PMIC is ok.

The related log as below,

Could any one please tell me how can I debug this issue?

Hi Ben,

what is the version of the SDK you use?

Also is it TI's EVM or a custom board?

Hi Yordan,
The SDK version is "GLSDK 7_04_00_03".
This issue occur on custom board only.

Are you seeing issue every time after power on reset.
Are you not able to get to u-boot prompt atleast once ?

This issue can occur
1) If DDR initialization is not succesful, please check ddr timing parameters are configured properly based on the DDR part used on your custom board.
2) Some times in socketted EVM, if the pin contacts of SoC are not proper, this issue can come.

This issue is not occur every time, possibility around 50 %.
How can I refine DDR timing parameter on our board?
Does any DDR parameter adjust tool for DRA744?

How about "IODELAY: Isolation of Device IOs failed" is some thing happen?

I have an other customer board that it get some error message but the probability only 2%.

Are there any DDR timing parameter adjust tool can be refine the parameter of DDR?

You can download the EMIF configuration tool from o cdds.ext.ti.com/.../emxTree.jsp

Follow step by step procedure mentioned in xls sheet.

Check with your local FAE , if you are not able to access above link
