Part Number: AFE7950EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE7950
Hi,
Context:
I have been working with the ZCU102 and have successfully established a link between the FPGA board and the AFE7950 when I run the script bring up in latte. For this I used as a base an example design that was provided called "ZCU102_AFE79xx_8b10b_10Gbps" and changed to a sample rate of 184.32 MSPS which gave a line rate of 3686.4. I am using 8b10b as 64b66b should not be used for lower rates such as this.
Problem:
I have tried to send different bandwidth signals (confirmed bandwidth signals) but when I check the spectrum the bandwidth seems to be always around 200 MHz, when I am expecting to see 50 MHz or 100 MHz. I have used two AFE board and both output the same, so the RF front end is not the problem.
My main concern is that I cannot generate the TI_204C_IP and because of this it is not generating some "hardcoded" value. I have requested access for this IP. The way I am doing now is generating the other cores which can be "regenerated" and changing the design manually.
Can you please provide assistance on this? we are currently needing this ASAP
