The thermal paste seems to be put in the right location. Are you planning to attach a heat sink to it?

Thanks for correcting me, Since I thought the one I sticked is the heat sink & now I understand heat sink is made of aluminium alloy.

Can you please let me know, if I can place the heat sink on top of the thermal paste?, Do I need to cut the heat sink??

Hello Guru,

Yes, typically the heat sink is attached above the thermal paste. You need to make sure the heat sink does not contact any components on the board , like capacitors etc.

Hello Guru,

I looks good. You just need to ensure the thermal paste and heat sink do not touch or risk touching any of the capacitors around.
