Hi, we are working on design of radome for mmwave sensors i.e. AWR1843. here is the our calculation for designing radome. are these calculations correct?

Hello Rajesh,
Your calculation looks fine. Just few comments are based on the chirp design you could select the average center frequency and rerun this calculation.
You could refer below graph just for reference on radome thickness at boresight.
Also note these calculations are for boresight, In rectangular radomes as signal travels away from the boresight, distance travelled through the radome increases causing higher errors, Hence you could explore curved (Half spherical ) based radomes.

Hi, section 5 talk about. Radars can see through plastic and glass of any color. what does it mean by this.
Hi,
This means that it is possible to place a radar sensor behind plastic or glass. You will still receive a signal. However the signal SNR will be impacted by the features of the plastic and glass (type, width, shape...)
