AWR1243BOOST: Power Up async event was not received & No LVDS data

Part Number: AWR1243BOOST

I am using mmWaveStudio to interface with the AWR1243BOOST and DCA1000. The BSS firmware used is C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00\rf_eval_firmware\radarss\xwr12xx_xwr14xx_radarss.bin (1.6.0.0 from 06/09/16), and the MSS firmware is C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00\rf_eval_firmware\masterss\xwr12xx_xwr14xx_masterss.bin (1.2.5.1 from 12/07/19). When I click on SPI connect, the output is either "MSS Power Up async event was not received!" or "BSS Power Up async event was not received!" When a frame is triggered, the application times out with a "No LVDS data" message.

P.S. I asked about this in another post but I had a typo. When I tried to reply to the first comment, TI said my email wasn't from an accepted institution (I work for Michigan Tech University). So I'm allowed to post questions but not replies? I don't understand how that makes sense. Why not allow all users troubleshooting TI devices to make comments on forum posts so that they can give feedback on the help they've received?

I see you have corrected the MSS and BSS firmware paths now.

Have you followed the training video I linked in your previous post closely? If you're still facing issues, please send us your mmWave Studio output log. This will help us debug your issue faster.

Also, if you're able to create new posts, you should be able to reply to them as well. You're right, this doesn't make sense. Let me reach out to our E2E support community for this purpose.

Yes, you won't be able to able to reply to this post. University threads are not allowed on this E2E forum, so creating a post should also not be possible but this is currently a bug and is being resolved.
