Hi David,
Although voltage ranges are not specified, Hall sensors are likely the best fit for their ability to tolerate AC voltages. However, we currently don’t have a product that handles the high current requirement. As a matter of fact, the combination of AC voltage and high survival currents is hard to fulfil for current sensors with integrated shunt and Hall sensors.
If the current sensor can be placed in a low-side configuration and an external shunt is used along with it, then there could be a much wider selection. If this is a possibility, here is a link to some of the analog output parts; and here is link to some of the digital parts.

Hi David,
The configuration refers to the relative location of the shunt resistor, load and the power supply that drives the load. Low-side means the shunt resistor is placed between the load and ground, therefore the current sense amplifier operates with a common mode voltage of 0V (ground).
You could refer to this presentation for more details, including those for low-side configuration. You could also watch the video recording version of it.

Hi,
In the system where the shunt is used, the current input must be isolated from ground.
So the Vcm voltage is not a problem but we need, in a part of the chain, to make an isolation.

Hi David,
For isolation solutions you could start with this tech note to get to know what technologies are available.
