AWR2243: Support for negative slope chirps

Dear TI Support,

Would you be able to let me know if the AWR2243 or AWR2944 support negative slope chirps. Also is it possible to configure these devices to alternatively transmit positive and negative slope chirps within a burst?

Hello Jonathan,

Yes, mmWave Sensors supports negative frequency slopes to produce sawtooth waveform chirps.

You can refer to the mmWave Interface Control document (mmWave ICD) to read more about the exact limits on the chirp frequency slope in the Chirp Profile.

Alternative positive and negative slope chirps are also possible within a burst if you use two different chirp profiles.
