We are testing the TI AWR1843BOOST for building an ADAS application, with the help of TI demo visualiser, we have set the maximum unambiguous range to 50 Meters.
We are using our custom code for detecting Obstacles on the road, we observed AWR843 is not detecting objects at the range of 50 meters or even 40 meters, very rarely such detection occurs(Please find the attached images)
Please note, We have restricted the beam to Car's width(1.56 Meters) using our own logic(this is to remove noise) , we restricted the elevation from 0 to 3 meters and also all Obstacles greater than 3 meters only be printed(this also to avoid noise)
Maximum detection occurs at 10 meters only.
Please find the attached picture of the radar fixed to the Car.
Can you please let me know the reason for this and help me with a fix.
