I need to measure the distance to an object that is protruding from a wall and only takes up a portion of the Field of View.
The wall is 2-3 meters away and the object is about 1 meter away, the object fills less than 50% of the Field of View.
Another post said "OPT3101 will compute the phase shift for all light rays weighted by the strength of the signal and output a single reading per channel. This means that if there are two objects the distance reading will be between the two distances weighted by the strength of the signal from each object."
If this is the case, is there a way to compute a max reading instead of an average?
