Hi Team,

Our customer would like to use our mmWave devices to monitor surface flow characteristics from a mobile platform.

He needs both range and velocity (doppler shift, not change in distance over time) to measure this (along with angle of incidence and other characteristics)

He would like to know if our mmWave with antenna on package (AOP) can provide both range and doppler?

If by "surface flow characteristics" you are referring to water flow, that is something that our devices have the capability of measuring and sensing. Refer to the following E2E threads for more information on the implementation of this application:

IWR6843AOP indeed does provide range and doppler, and would be a good device choice for this application.
