Hi,

I was looking at the TargetList tlv data captured from the iwr6843.

I observed the same target id appearing twice in same frame. (Image is target list data from one frame)

This continued for multiple consecutive frames & was not in one isolated frame.

Is this expected behaviour?

If yes, what is the reasoning/ rationale behind this?

I expected a target id to appear only once in a frame.

The x, y, z coordinates are different for both but both targets are assigned same target id.

Added csv file containing the radar frame data.

The above scenario occurs starting at row no. 1296. Or frame number 778

Hi Tanmay,

This is not expected behavior, but I also see in your csv file that the TID's start at 10, then go to 12? This is not expected behavior either. The TID's should start at 0. Can you confirm you're using the most up-to-date toolbox (4.11) and the unmodified binary?

Hi Nathan,

The binary is unmodified & the toolbox version is 4.9

The possible issues could be in processing the tlv data before logging it in csv file.

Another query regarding the TID value.

Does the TID value go above 19 or it rolls back to 0?

I observed that after 19 the TID values are assigned from 0, 1 and so on. & not 20, 21 .

Hi Tanmay,

It should wrap back around to 0 after 19, I've just confirmed that on my end. However, it should not start at 10, and I don't believe it should generate 2 points for the same TID. Can you get this to happen reliably?
