DCA1000EVM: cannot setup DCA1000

Hi,

     Can you please follow this steps.

1. DCA1000 check box 2. set the SOP mode. 3. Select the third port from the 4 ports mounted on your PC when you coneect the FTDI port of DCA1000 to your PC

4. Connect in DCA1000 card window.

I don't understand 

1) what does DCA check box mean??

2) I checked SOP mode. It is set on SOP2 as in your picture

3) How can I select the third port? I don't understand what 4 ports mean.

I tried all the same setting with DCA1000EVM+AWR1642 for mmwave studio 2.0.0.2(worked), 2.1.1.0(not worked), 3.0.0.14(not worked). So I want to know if there's another settings for current mmwavestudio version.

        Please see the responses below:

1. 

2. OK.

3. When you connect the FTDI port from DCA1000 to your PC , 4 ports get mounted in device manager. These ports have successive serial numbers. In those ports 3 port is what has be selected.

If the problem persists then please try to do below:

1. Check on your windows firewall. as some custoemrs have reported that as the issue.

2. Please try to reflash the DCA1000 FPGA, as per proceudre in user guide. you can use this image for DCA1000 FPGA.

I already checked all the steps 1-3.

Additionally, firewall has been off. I will try to update FPGA 2.9 and answer again.
