IWR1443BOOST: Unable to connect SPI

The four "AR-DevPack-EVM" COM ports belong exclusively to the DCA1000, and most certainly if your computer does not see these four ports you will run into more than just SPI connectivity errors. Do you see this flakey behavior on any other computer? And did you ever disable your Windows firewall when running your setup? Also after re-examining your earlier photo, are you connecting TWO barrel jacks to your setup? You should only have one, also could you try connecting it to the DCA1000 and flipping the big switch if the firewall solution doesn't help?

Hello Pedrhom,

I sorted out the issue of "AR-DevPack-EVM" COM ports. It was an issue due to the loose connection of the Samtec cable.

Yes, I am using a two-barrel jack one to IWR1443boost and another to DCA1000. 

     1) I tried connecting the barrel jack to only DCA1000 but mmWaveStudio is not unable to detect the device. See log and pic.

  2) I tried connecting the barrel jack to only IWR1443 but could not connect SPI. See the below pic for log and connection

  3) I tried connecting the barrel jack to both devices but could not connect SPI. See the below pic for the log

4) The windows firewall is not disabled. 

It has been more than a month to address only the connection issue. I am going to stay here at whole night today. I would request you please respond quickly so that I can address the issue today. To make things easy, you can suggest to me all the required steps with a little detail in order to capture data.

Hello Arjun,

Apologies for the late response as I was out due to illness, your firewall should be OFF for this task if you are seeing issues. Also are your power supplies 5V 3A? Current lower than 3A has historically shown flakey behavior.

Hope you are fine now. I am using a power supply whose output is 4A for both EVMs.

I sorted out the SPI issues. Now, I have been facing issues in FPGA. I am unable to see its version upon clicking the "SetUp DCA1000" button in SensorConfig. Please see this source posted by me.
