Hi Team,
My Applications
Question 1: This is a four-pole magnetic bearing, and my purpose is to make the rotor in the middle stable suspension at all times during the bearing operation. A sensor is required to detect the position of the rotor at all times. My idea is to make the PCB coil of the LDC1000EVM into the right size and fix it to the stator teeth in the red circle as shown in the figure, because the distance between the rotor and the stator teeth (that is, the air gap) is relatively narrow (only 0.5mm is expected), can the thickness of the PCB coil be less than this size requirement? Can it be placed in this position?
Question 2: Can I place the PCB coil on the red circle as shown in the figure (that is, wrap the PCB coil around the stator winding)? Is this possible? Will it then have an impact on the sensor's detection?
Question 3: Can you provide me with a PCB coil installation solution? Except for the two ways I think myself? Where is it more suitable to install it (the purpose is to detect the position of the middle rotor so that the rotor is stable in suspension)?
Regards,
Susan Ren
