This is a continuation of this thread (DCA1000EVM: High Phase noise). The previous thread was made to check the noise in DCA1000evm, but it was found that the static phase per frame is very low, so that is fine.
Following the tread suggestion to create a new post, I want to ask how the results can be fixed/improved to obtain better phase extraction. The complex points obtained for phase extraction (one complex point from the range fft peak per frame) show no difference between a static object and a vibrational object. A vibrational object should show an arc-like structure when all points are plotted on IQ plane, but points are basically at a random locations for static or nonstatic. I believe this is some snr issue with setting in mmwavestudio because the same settings are used as a previous project. I have attached a screenshot of the complex points of my results at the moment and another similar project results with the same device. I have also attached their project and result for range vs frame which shows some activity in the range bin, but for me it's blank.
