To my understanding, higher chirp frequency bandwidth, higher range resolution.
But in Automotive mmr demo, I compared the parameters setting for different distance detection and find the parameters for short distance detection have large bandwidth. Can you please explain why use these settings?
MODE | DETECTION DISTANCE | START_FREQ_GHZ | RAMP_END_TIME_VAL(ns) | FREQ_SLOPE_MHZ_PER_US(mhz/us) | bandwidth(mhz) |
MRR | 80 (...MRR80.h) | 76.01 | 56000 | 8 | 448 |
120 (...MRR120.h) | 76.01 | 60000 | 4 | 240
USRR | 20 (...USRR20.h) | 77.01 | 87280 | 42 | 3665.76 |
30 (...USRR30.h) | 77.01 | 44000 | 56.25 | 2475
50 (...USRR50.h) | 77.01 | 44000 | 37.5 | 1650 |
