Please take a look at this document to better understand the radar signal created by the mmWave sensor. With regards to Figure 14, the DCA1000 pulls the signal after the ADC buffer and before the FFT signal processing. The sheer amount of data that is recorded requires high amount of data transfer and the DCA1000 uses Ethernet to achieve these speeds. A scope can be used to debug performance but you will not get the amount of information need that is acquired by the DCA1000
