I refer to this document,3.2.2.3. CSI2RX — 处理器 SDK Linux for J721e 文档 (ti.com)

I need to generate my own driver file and create a device tree node for the sensor, how can I customize the creation node?

How do I solve the following problems? What work do I need to do, is there a detailed development guidance process?

Could you clarify whether you have already created a driver and dtc for your sensor and you are getting the error as shown in the snapshot?

The snapshot shows that you are accessing /dev/video0. Here video0 and video1 are mostly used for codec.

Hence could you try with /dev/video2?

You could run "media-ctl -p" in order to know which device the sensor is connected to.

Drivers and DTCs are currently not added. When the camera is connected to CSI, only the driver and DTC can be added to make a new videox node appear?

How can I tell if a device is connected?

Hi,

You would have to include the dtbo overlay of the sensor and then when you execute "media-ctl -p", you could see the sensor (and the whole topology based on your device tree) each as an entity.

You could refer the below FAQ to add sensor overlay and stream using csirx

Note: If you are using only Linux SDK, you could start from step 6 and you need not include k3-j721e-vision-apps.dtbo.

This is the result shown after adding name_overlays=k3-j721e-fpdlink-cpb-fusion.dtbo k3-j721e-fpdlink-imx390-rcm-0-0.dtbo based on the Linux SDK, following the sixth .txt step you gave the connection. Why aren't there any new video nodes?

Is it because the driver didn't load successfully?

Yes, Could you please check why there is an i2c error while configuring?

Are you using the fusion board along with TDA4VM?

if yes, could you please check if the fusion board is powered ON?

Could you also tell me which SDK version are you currently working ON? Do you have both RTOS and Linux SDK installed or Is it only Linux SDK?
