At Bosch Hungary, we are running some experiments with your AWR1843AOPEVM. We would like to be able to measure the antenna characteristics to verify the data specified in the data sheets. For this purpose our HW team would like to have a direct contact with someone who is acquainted with the product and the RF measurements. We would like to know what was the exact setup that you have performed your antenna measurements with, because we want to reproduce it as similarly as possible. How do you access the data from the radar? Do you have any Matlab libraries, APIs or sample codes for the settings?
Is there any possibility that the product has a limited performance by the DSP or it might be defective? We did some measurements and it seems, that there are no locations beyond ~6m coming back from the radar. We are using the ROS environment for measurements, and from those ROSbags we can see that if we put a reflector at 10m at 0°, no reflections are coming back off of it. Is this possible?
