IWR1843BOOST: IWR1843BOOST vs AWR1XXX to synchronize the frames of 2 radars

Part Number: IWR1843BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SK-TDA4VM, TDA4VM

Hi,

I need to synchronize the frames of 2 radars. I was thinking of acquiring 2 radars that operate from 77 to 81 GHz, since I have seen a ROS repository where they use an IWR1843BOOST for synchronization (as it has the SYNC_IN pin accessible). But I have found a Texas Instruments document that was used to answer a customer who was asking how to synchronize the frames of 2 IWR1843BOOST radars, and this document explains how to do it with an AWR1XXX without using a Raspberry or SK-TDA4VM. What device do you recommend me to acquire to synchronize the frames of both radars?

(If you can also clarify how to achieve this synchronization, I would appreciate it, because I have not found any clear and concise information on this).

Thank you and regards.

Alejandro.
