AWR2243: more than 4 chip cascade problem

Hello,

We intend to cascade more than 4 chip in one system.

Besides using a 20GHz amp on pcb to drive more chip, is there any other problem?

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to achieve more than 4 chip cascade. The main concern would be achieving the required LO link budget with an external amplifier. Besides that, it should not be much different for 4-chip or 2-chip cascade implementation.
