I m using AWR1843AOPEVM for my project.

1. What is a maximum elevation field of view(FoV) of AWR1843AOPEVM..?

2. For calculating the elevation angle, AWR1843AOPEVM takes which Axis as a reference..?

3. Can you please tell me, for getting better performance at which height and angle AWR1843AOPEVM will place by taking Ground as a reference.

Hi Miti,

It would be 140 degrees.
It takes the Z axis as the reference which will be perpendicular to the XY plane.

Hi Miti,

The FoV for the AOPEVM is 140 degrees in total (±70 degrees) as it has an L-Shaped antenna pattern. I have updated my response above similarly. Having an L-shaped antenna pattern would give similar angular performance in both the azimuth and elevation plane so turning it would not have any effect. I hope there is no confusion anymore and apologies from my end for the previous info.

Regarding the debug info,

Who should i debug AWR1843AOPEVM...? -> I don't understand what you mean by who?
Yes. You will require an mmwaveiceboost board to debug on the same. This board gives you access to the XDS debug probes that connect to the Debug SS on the AWR1843. In standalone mode, you can flash and run the demo and use the application and data ports over the USB.
