IWR6843AOP: mmWave Detection

Hi Ti-Expert,

what is the diff method/classification to identify people counting and Car tracking in IWR6843AOPEVM.

I tested both example and refer the source code. I just found the diff. between the both examples is that config file(.cfg). but what is the actual algorithm for detection is not found.

I checked basic algorithms like AOA,DPU,DPC and etc.

I also checked this Doc.:- dev.ti.com/.../node

Hi Darshan,

The fundamental algorithm should be the same if you're using the people counting demo. They're all based off the document you've linked. The document you've linked refers to the gtrack algorithm which can be found in the radar toolbox and the mmwave sdk.

The algorithm provided can be tuned to either people or cars. It detects moving objects.

The algorithm can be found in C:\ti\radar_toolbox_1_10_00_13\radar_toolbox_1_10_00_13\source\ti\dpu\trackerproc_overhead\packages\ti\alg

We do not have an algorithm that distinguishes between cars and humans.
