Hi For some purpose we want to let the Radar can use CW mode ( Not FMCW ) mode, to transmite fix frequency and receive the reflected signal from RX and do the FFR. Can you tell use how to configure the Radar?

Hi,

Our devices were designed with FMCW mode in mind, so we do not actively support or provide much documentation for operating in CW mode. You can enable CW mode when collecting raw data in mmWave Studio as described here:

This would only be for testing and data purposes, however. Enabling CW mode on the device in a more "production" configuration will be a little more involved. You can start by looking at the SDK users guide as mentioned here:

I check the two link that you mention, but I still do not know how to set the Radar to CW mode.

Hi,

Can you confirm, are you using this for testing purposes or you want to use CW mode in a final product?

As I mentioned above, we do not actively support or provide much documentation for operating in CW mode. There are other E2E threads that explore CW mode, but other than checking our documentation such as TRMs and similar, there is not much more information I can provide.

We want to use CW mode for test purpose.

Just let us know how to configure CW mode, because I can not find on xWRx432 document.

For testing purposes, You will have to use mmWave Studio CLI and follow the instructions in the post mentioned above:

I try to use Web lunch or download the mmwave studio but it all can not work. Do I need to have DCA1000EVM ? If I do not haveDCA1000EVM , how can I run the studio? Is that the only way taht I can let the radar run @ CW mode? Can I use some kind of RF API to make it run @ CW mode?

Yes, you will need a DCA1000EVM to run with mmWave Studio
