AWR1843 - DCA1000EVM: SPI connection error

Would it be possible for you to choose the correct device variant (on the screen shot you posted looks like xWR12xx is chosen vs xWR18xx) and retry? Also, the number of devices detected is also shown as 0.

On the DCA1000EVM that is not working, are you able to see the FTDI ports in the device manager?

Can you try reprogramming the FPGA and see if that helps? You can follow the steps in section 9 of the user guide.

Per customer:

I tried using the solution you provided, but out of 6 products, only 1 product is not detected.

We will also send you a photo of the device manager of the device that is not being detected and a photo of the device manager that is operating normally. Please check. 

Therefore, we are confident that this one product is defective.

In the customer response, they did not acknowledge the result of reprogramming the FPGA as I had requested.

Please provide the results of this reprogramming, did the reprogramming pass or if not what was the error? It would be best if they can provide some screenshots of the FTPROG GUI results of their reprogramming.

Also, one more thing to try if reprogramming the FPGA does not work successfully. Can they please try manually assigning the FTDI drivers as described in the below thread? It seems like for some reason the faulty board is not associating with the drivers correctly based on the screenshot provided by the customer. Maybe trying the below will help.

If neither of these items help, we may need to return the board.

Unfortunately, the customer stated that they are not able to resolve this issue even I forwarded your comments above. So the customer would like to return the parts back to TI for further analysis. Is it possible to proceed? Please advise. Thanks.
