Hello TI.
I am constructing a RADAR circuit by referring to the reference circuit.
Looking at PROC091G(002)_Sch.PDF, it seems to be using an external MCU (XDS110).
But I want to design the circuit using the internal MCU.
Is it possible?
Could you also have any data to refer to?
Thanks.
Dear Inho -
Thanks for the post and welcome to E2E!
PROC91 is design folder from the xWR6843AOPEVM.
PROC117 is the correct design database to use for the AWRL6432 https://www.ti.com/tool/AWRL6432BOOST#design-files , from the product page of the BOOST board. https://www.ti.com/tool/AWRL6432BOOST
The TM4C MCU you will see in that design is the XDS110, which is the emulator (JTAG) for programming the device and the EEPROM.
(see section 6.11 on page 17 of the EVM user guide for reference / understanding) https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru596/swru596.pdf
Hello :)
I will design RADAR for customers using AWRL6432.
Is it no problem to Delete the EEPROM?
Thanks.
Dear Inho -
This is probably OK, however you may want to have it in your drawing and as DNP to save cost, just in case it is decided that it is needed later.
