I'm currently exploring the mmWave Radar technology, specifically utilizing the AWR2944 EVM board. At this stage, I'm seeking guidance on how to effectively extract or capture the data from the EVM board. Despite my efforts, I find myself unsure of the next steps to proceed in this data extraction process. Could someone kindly provide a step-by-step approach or resources to assist me in successfully extracting data from the AWR2944 EVM board?

Can you specify if you are looking forward to capturing the raw radar ADC data or the point cloud output of the OOB demo provided for the AWR2944?

Thank you for your response. I'm specifically interested in capturing the raw radar ADC data rather than the point cloud output from the Out-of-Box (OOB) demo provided for the AWR2944.

Could you please provide guidance on how to access and capture the raw radar ADC data? Any tips or resources you could share would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bhavana,

Thanks a lot for your patience!

You will need a DCA1000EVM for this purpose to act as a capture card for the AWR2944 EVM.

You should find everything you need here with respect to the tools, steps etc:
