MMWAVEICBOOST: Unable to Flash Firmware to IWR6843ISK-ODS Using MMAVEICBOOST

Part Number: MMWAVEICBOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, IWR6843ISK-ODS

Tool/software:

I purchased the MMAVEICBOOST and attempted to use UniFlash to program the firmware to the IWR6843ISK-ODS according to the user guide, but I have been unable to successfully flash it.

It often gets stuck at the following screen:

Before this, I had checked related issues on forums and confirmed the following settings:

  1. Power supply: 5V/3A
  2. SOP Mode: 101
  3. COM port is recognized and using the COM19 of the Data port
  4. All possible visual tools, terminal windows, or other software that might block UniFlash from connecting to the COM port have been closed
  5. UniFlash was started before EVM settings and power-up. After correctly setting up and powering the EVM, UniFlash was closed, reopened, and retried
  6. All processes in Task Manager were confirmed to be closed before opening UniFlash:
    • FlashPythonSubprocess.exe
    • DSLite.exe
    • node.exe *32

Finally, I replaced the MMAVEICBOOST with another one and used the same IWR6843ISK-ODS for flashing, and it was successful.

Are there any other methods to resolve the flashing issue?
Or could it be that the MMAVEICBOOST hardware is defective? If so, could you please leave a comment as proof for future hardware replacement?
