Tool/software:
Hi team,
to optimize our system we need to know the power consumption per rail. We plan to use the device in power optimized mode.
The Power Estimation tool calculates and provides us the average power, but we also need the power per rail to get the optimized numbers of chirps with our available power budget. How we can extract this values from the average power? Is there any options or setting to get this numbers to?
Thanks
Jens
Hey Jens,
I'd recommend using the INA228s on the board to obtain real-time power consumption. This is discussed in the following thread, but let me know if you need any clarification regarding this topic.

Hello Kristien,
is there another possibility to get these values without the evaluation board?
Best regards
Kilian
Hey Killian,
There is no way to get these measurements from the board without the EVM's INA228. Since the power estimator tool uses measurements that are summed up across all power rails, there is no way to derive back out the rail powers; the original rail power measurements would be needed instead.
