Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR2243, UNIFLASH,
Tool/software:
Dear Expert,
The company recently purchased an MMWCAS-RF-EVM,The company developed its own upper layer FPGA development board, no network module, no XDS110 module, only one way USB to uart(No FDTI is used, CP2102N-A02 chip is used),Now I want to download the firmware of AWR2243 through UNIFLASH, and I know that uniflash can only download the firmware of one radar chip at a time, so I can control the uart of the four chips through FPGA.
The specific uart link modes are as follows:
[RS232 of AWR2243] <-> [Hirose connector] <-> [USB-to-UART Bridge(CP2102N-A02)] <-> [USB connector] <-> [PC with Uniflash]
At present, the device manager on the PC can recognize the port (port name: Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COM4)), and uniflash will tell you that the port is not found. I use the serial port tool to send data. Sending and receiving data are the same. The uart tool configuration as follows:
- Connection: Serial
- Speed (baud): 115200
- Data bits: 8
- Stop bits: 1
- Parity: None
- Flow control: None
My question is:
1.I looked up other forum posts and found that signal chip AWR1643 can download firmware directly through uart's tx rx two cables, so does AWR2243 support it?
2.I used the debugging function of FPGA to monitor the UART signal of FPGA. When uniflash tool was working, the rx and tx signals of uart did not capture changes. I guess that uniflash tool did not recognize the com port, so no data was transmitted from PC to AWR2243; How does uniflash recognize ports? Are there any other hardware connections required?
3.I looked up the post with similar situation to mine (URL below), but there was no subsequent response, do you know of any related post?
Thanks.
