DCA1000EVM: Clarification on BSS and MSS Firmware Files for IWR6843AOPEVM Testing

Hello TI team,

I am testing the IWR6843AOPEVM, and as I set up the environment, I need to select the BSS firmware and MSS firmware for testing. I would like to confirm whether the files provided at the following locations: C:\\ti\\mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00\\rf_eval_firmware\\radarss\\xwr68xx_radarss.bin" and "C:\\ti\\mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00\\rf_eval_firmware\\masterss\\xwr68xx_masterss.bin" are the same for all binaries. Are these BSS and MSS firmware files binary-dependent, or are they common for all cases of the IWR6843AOPEVM?

and can we load the config files directly from here.

Hello Dileep,

Those two BSS FW and MSS FW files are what we use for all of our application/example code, as well as any raw data collection using the 6843AOPEVM. Note that the mmWaveStudio and DCA1000 setup is for raw data capture only, raw data being unprocessed unfiltered dumped ADC data.
