Part Number: AWRL6844

Tool/software:

Hello,

I am trying to import mmw-demo for AWRL6844EVM.

But when I import the project below error message pops up.

Do you know what the problem is??

HW : AWRL6844 EVM

IDE : CCS Version: 20.0.2.5__1.6.2

SDK : MMWAVE_L_SDK_06_00_03_00

Thanks,

Best Regards,

  • Hey Yechan,

Thanks for reaching out regarding this import issue. Another one of our software engineers will get in touch within the next day or two, but for now, I would recommend looking through the AWRL6844EVM FAQ - see SDK FAQ #2.

    Regards,

    Kristien

  • Hello Kristien,

Thank you for your prompt reply.
I have already tried the link you shared, but it didn't work as expected.
Additionally, I have downloaded CCS version 12.7.1, which is the recommended version for SDK 6, but I encountered a similar issue, as shown below:

  • Hey Yechan,

If you have already tried everything in the FAQ #2 then in CCS version 12.7.1 try the following steps:

    1. Select Install device support: Help > Install Device Support

    2. Follow instructions and select custom installation when you are prompted with the choice of full installation or custom installation.

    3. At this point ensure that you have mmWave Sensors downloaded and additionally add C6000 Power-Optimized DSP and Wireless Connectivity. Next > Spectrum Digital Debug Probes and Boards. Follow the instructions from here.

    • This should help force an update to your code composer with your 68 device data (that you placed in the correct folders as per FAQ instructions) and fix your issue.

Also make sure to power your computer off and back on instead of restarting if CCS requests this. Please let me know if you run into any issues and whether this works.

    Best,

    Vignesh K.
