Tool/software:
Hi expert,
I am experiencing issues with the SBL (System Boot Loader) functionality on my IWRL6432BOOST evaluation board. After successfully downloading both the SBL image and application binary (appimage) using the Uniflash tool, the board enters Function Mode as expected. However, when attempting to establish a serial connection via Tera Term, the terminal window remains blank with no output, suggesting the SBL/AppImage may not be initializing properly or communicating with the host. Could you assist me in identifying the root cause?
1. reference steps: xWRL6432 MMWAVE-L-SDK: Secondary Boot Loader
2. sbl.release.appimage or sbl.debug.appimage path :C:\ti\MMWAVE_L_SDK_05_03_00_02\examples\drivers\boot\sbl\xwrL64xx-evm\m4fss0-0_nortos\ti-arm-clang
Thanks!

Hi,
Please allow me a couple of days to replicate the issue from my side. Meanwhile, have you tried using the binary from the latest SDK?

Hi,
Did you issue reset after loading the first image as mentioned in MMWAVE_L_SDK_05_05_02_00/docs/api_guide_xwrL64xx/EXAMPLES_DRIVERS_SBL.html

Hi,
Have you tried setting the device back in flashing mode and again switching to functional mode, to check if the COM ports are detected?

I found the reason that the S1.6 was swithed to OFF.But I don't know why it affect the SBL boot.
