Hello Team,
Posting on behalf of my customer:
We are currently experiencing an issue while attempting to flash firmware onto the AWR1843BOOST evaluation module using UniFlash. The process consistently stalls at the message:
Despite multiple attempts, the flashing procedure does not progress beyond this point. Below is the system configuration we are using.
-
Board: AWR1843BOOST
-
Host OS: Windows 11 64-bit
-
mmWave SDK Version: 3.6.2
-
mmWave Toolbox Version: 3.6
-
.bin File: Precompiled binary for the Front-Mounted Occupancy Detection Lab from the mmWave Toolbox
We have carefully followed all recommended flashing procedures. The SOP configuration was set to 101 (SOP2 = 1, SOP1 = 0, SOP0 = 1) to enable UART flashing mode, as specified in the datasheet. The correct Application/User UART COM port was selected after verifying it via the Windows Device Manager. We also ensured the use of a working USB data cable, tried multiple USB ports, and repeated the process on a second PC to rule out host or connectivity issues. Power cycling and resetting the board using the NRST button were performed prior to each flashing attempt. Furthermore, we confirmed that all terminal applications were closed to prevent port conflicts. Both the online and offline versions of UniFlash were tested. However, the process either failed to connect or stalled at the erase command as well. The board is detected consistently in Device Manager, with both COM ports enumerated, and the XDS110 drivers have been updated and reinstalled.
Regards,
Renan
