AWR2243: AWR2243: Help understanding CSI-2 raw data structure and how to configure it

Part Number: AWR2243

Tool/software:

Hi,

I want to receive and "decode" the raw ADC data sent via the CSI-2 interface of my AWR2243.

So far, I was only able to find a brief explanation in the data sheet under "ADC Data Format Over CSI2 Interface" but it doesn't go into great detail and explains how the output format changes with the configuration and how exactly to restore the raw data samaples.

In the datasheet, the case of a 12bit complex configuration is shown, but how does it change when I'm using 16bit complex format? Will all data "blocks" now be 16bit long, including the header?

And what exactly is stored in the fields "NU" and "CH Chirp Profile" and what does the "CQ Data" (Chirp Quality) mean exactly?

I've read many documents, datasheets and guides but I'm starting to loose the overview and what all the abbreviations in the docs mean.

Many thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to help :)
