I am writing to inquire about an issue where the FPGA version on my mmWave device is showing as 0.0.0.0.

I have already completed all the static IP settings, and there is no firewall enabled.

What could be the problem?

    First please confirm you have checked the DCA1000 E2E FAQ Post and the available resources. 

    Second, in the log you have provided there is no error. If you are having connection issues with specifically the DCA1000, it would mention something along the lines of Unable To Read FPGA Version.

    Thank you for your reply.

    As you suggested, I checked the DCA1000 E2E FAQ post.

    I went through all the FPGA-related errors and solutions listed there, but the result hasn’t changed. Here’s what I’ve tried:

    1. Turned off Wi-Fi

    2. Disabled all firewalls

    3. Reflashed the FPGA board using the Lattice Diamond Programmer

    Is there anything else I could try?

    Below is my mmWave Studio log.

    In “SetUp DCA1000,” the FPGA version is not detected, and therefore, even when I run Trigger Frame, no IQ data is captured. I’ve attached screenshots of my setup.

    It is a bit odd that you are not getting a "unable to read FPGA version" error. Can you try high speed USB cables instead? Different than the ones that the device came with. If this does not work then I will deem the EVM as faulty, and you will be able to reach out to TI Customer Service for a replacement.

    As you suggested, I connected a faster USB cable to the DCA1000, but it was not fixed.

    I also think the device is faulty.
