Hi team - I see in the related E2E post that there is not fall detection demo planned for IWRL6432BOOST, but the resource explorer says there is a fall detection demo coming soon. Can you advise which is true?

If it is coming soon, when will it be available?

If it is not planned, should we use the IWR6843 as recommended in the related thread?

    Hi Jacob, 

    The work had been deprioritized for a while, truthfully, the note mentioning 'coming soon' should have been removed but this was missed. However, this is a bit of a coincidence now because we do actually have a fall detection example for IWRL6432BOOST planned in the next toolbox release which can be expected next month.

    Hi Josh and Jacob ,

     Thanks for the update . Please advise IWR6843 dev kit ( out of 3 available ) which one be immediately used for medical use cases ( Fall detection and vistal sign monitoring ) POC ,  that works out‑of‑the‑box reference examples

    Hi Prasad, 

    No problem. For IWR6843 devkits, for Vital Signs with People Tracking both IWR6843ISK and IWR6843AOP are supported. For fall detection (6843), the example mentions this note on device support:
    "This experiment was tested with the 3D People Tracking demo, as detailed above. While the results were taken using an IWR6843AOPEVM antenna, this experiment is compatible with all antenna patterns for the IWR6843 device. If using a different board, an corresponding configuration file for that board should be used."
