I have followed all the instructioons provided in THIS POST. I have installed:
NI VISA driver: NIVISA1401full
Labview runtime: LABVIEW2010 SP1 Runtime - LVRTE2010_SP1f5std
THE LDC1101 EVM GUI always runs with administrative privileges.
OS: Win11 and Win7 PRO (64 bits)
In both laptops, the GUI attempts connection at launch but then, it shows NOT CONNECTED in the status bar. I have made a fresh installation of windows 7 pro to avoid any unwanted errors. Seriously, why is this so complicated? I was hoping to run a lot of tests using this board for my research, but now I am fully stuck. I have not python programming skills, but found a project where they managed to communicate with the board, HERE. It would be nice to have an updated interface using python that enables faster development becasue this GUI really is problematic. Seriously TI, whay do you guys keep selling this when people have 0 chancess of actually doing any development or evaluation?
