DCA1000EVM: IP Address Update

Hello E2E Experts,

DCA1000EVM documentation states what "The DCA1000EVM has option of loading Ethernet configuration data from EEPROM or the FPGA internal register, based on SW2.6."

This post confirms the procedure: AWR1243BOOST: Connecting multiple DCA1000EVMs to one PC

But this one in very unprofessional way contradicts the claim above: DCA1000EVM: Configure the static IP for DCA1000EVM

DCA1000EVM reports FPGA version 2.9. Cli eeprom function reports success, but the board loads with same IP Configuration.

Was the option of loading Ethernet configuration data from EEPROM removed? Or I have issues with eeprom chip itself?

IP setting of DCA1000 is hardcoded hence it is not possible to modify it.

One more question. Would IP address be eeprom loadable is I reflash to version 2.8?
