I am measuring with TDC7200 for 5 stops for 1MHz signal.
I measured interval between each "STOP" time, and the deviation from the expected period varies between 1~10 nanoseconds.
I think it may be due to noise in the system.
I am considering to use precision reference on the VCOM pin instead of using internal VDD/2 reference.
Can I expect noticeable improve in measured time jitter? if not, where should I start improving?
Also, can I expect improvement if I bypass LNA and use instrumentation amplifier differentially instead?
