AWR1243: AWR1243 LVDS documentation

Part Number: AWR1243
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1642

In a related thread (last November, I think) this was mentioned:

"We are in process of putting up a document for the LVDS protocol."

Has there been any progress with this document? The existing LVDS protocol documentation, AFAIK, consists of one diagram in a web forum. Nothing with more detailed specs about setup/hold times, jitter, frequency stability, etc., or even simple things like how the lanes are mapped, etc.

Somebody said LVDS is a "debug" protocol. Does this mean it has not been fully characterized or approved for operation or is somehow unreliable? We are currently using LVDS and don't want to use CSI2. We are seeing issues with LVDS even in the 150 Mbps mode.

Thanks!
