I am testing mmw based on XI1642QGABL 和 X1642BIGABL (Preproduction)

Now I want to buy IWR1642AQAGABL and AWR1642ABIGABLQ1

What will be the differences between Preproduction and Production version？Must I change something？

    Hi,

    The Production AWR1642 is based on Silicon version ES 2.0

    The Pre-production should be based on ES 1.0 silicon.

    You can tell the difference between the ES1.0 and ES2.0 silicon by looking at the marking on the chip

    For ES1.0 silicon you will notice xWR1642

    For ES 2.0 silicon you will notice xWR1642A

    The ES1.0 and ES2.0 versions are not SW compatible.

    For ES2.0 version you will need to use mmWave SDK 2.0

    Can I know the differences between SDK1.2 and SDK2?
    I only find SDK2 has more demo code~
    If I use SDK2, what else should I do to test my product?

    Please review the "New Features" Section in the SDK 2.0 release notes

    Usually the product development cycle includes concept, development, testing, field testing ...

    You would have to perform testing based on your product requirements.
