IWR1443BOOST: mmWave Studio Error after starting up

Hello,

New user here, trying to setup the mmwave studio to connect to IWR1443Boost module and get below error screenshot. Any idea on how can resolved this ? am on a Windows 10 Box.

  • Should add that I have the IWR1443 Boost module directly hooked to PC (no other dev boards).

    For Using mmWave studio you would need additional hardware.

  • My interest currently is not to capture the Raw data but to fire up the ROS node from the code here.

    So intially when the ros node failed to start was trying to see if the IWR1443Boost needs new firmware or something (this was the reason was trying the studio) . Anyways my end objective is to fire up the ROS node and see a pointcloud stream of data from the topics. Any help you can provide will be great.

    Currently when i start the node with  below i get error , so have been disabling various modules for the 1443 on startup

    Disabled below three on startup. Anyways even after startup i dont see any messages published on rostopic echo /

    It looks like someone previosly uploaded an older version of the TI mmWave ROS driver (v1.2) to that github website. Per the release notes in the docs directory, that version of the driver expects the mmWave EVM to be running the out-of-box (mmw) demo firmware from mmWave SDK v1.1.0.2. If you have a different firmware running on the mmWave EVM, the ROS driver may not work with it.

    I would recommend following the user's guide for the latest TI mmWave ROS driver (included in the ROS Point Cloud Visualizer lab) from the TI Resource Explorer at the following link.

    This will include downloading and installing the latest TI mmWave ROS driver (currently v1.4) and flashing the mmWave EVM with the corresponding mmWave SDK mmw demo firmware (latest mmw demo firmware version for IWR1443BOOST EVM is mmWave SDK 1.2.0.5). The mmWave SDK can be downloaded at the following link.
