Hello,

The Python script referenced in the previous thread is not published. However, the mmWave SDK mmw demo Doxygen describes the data format and the mmWave Demo Visualizer code mentioned in the previous thread can be used as a reference to decode the mmWave SDK demo UART output data format if desired.

There is also a C code example of configuring the mmWave sensor and decoding the detected object data referenced in the following thread.

The current version of the script is attached. We will try and release this on Tirex, but for now you could use this attached version.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the script, however i cannot seem to be able to run it succesfully.

i get the error:

print "Improper TLV structure found: ", (data,)

on unix i get the same result but with the newline character:

Improper TLV structure found: ('\n',)

Is the script not compatible with the High Accuracy Lab?

Hi Jason,

I'm afraid the script was only tested with recorded data from the OOB Demo/mmWave Demo Visualizer. It was not tested with the High Accuracy Lab.

While there is no script published for parsing the High Accuracy Lab UART output data, the following file shows the data structure.

e2e.ti.com/.../1667.DataStructure_5F00_table_5F00_higAccuLab.pdf
