hello

while i am using MSP430 USB Firmware update Example V1.1.4 to update the GUI Firmware.

On 1st computer with Windows 7 OS,  the result is "Fail to read data from RAM BSL".

and on the other computer with Windows 10 OS, the result is :

Starting
Password Sent Successfully
Sending RAM BSL v00.06.05.34
Done RAM BSL v00.06.05.34
USB device was unplugged!
Unsuccessful in starting the BSL. Restarting.
USB device was unplugged!

could you give any suggestion on it??

BTW,  Do I must update the firmware of “TDC1000_7200_EVM_DRIVER.inf”???

    We do not see any issue with the firmware update on our side.

    Please ensure that you Hold the BSL button & plugin the board to USB and then click upgrade firmware.

    If you still have issue, please send me the firmware that you want to update I will check that file in our end.

    I followed all the steps that you provide when I upgrade firmware.

    And the file name is "TDC1000_7200_FW-v2.01-1MHz.txt"

    I have insert  the firmware,  but i am not sure it can be post on e2e.

    what is your email address ?

    Please follow the sequence below:
    1. Click on the debug tab in GUI.
    2. Click on Update Firmware button.
    3. In the pop-up screen click Next to proceed.
    4. Accept the License agreement & click Next.
    5. Select Firmware (Browse the Location of the Firmware)
    6. Disconnect the FET Board
    7. Press the BSL button just while re-pluging the FET Board.
    8. Then Click Update Firmware.
    9. The Firware updates within a few seconds and the Green LED in D2 lights up on the board.

    I have noticed teh fails such as "Fail to read data from RAM BSL" or "Unsuccessful in starting the BSL. Restarting" if I press the Update Firmware button while holding the BSL Button.

    Also make sure you have adminstrative right on the system you are working.

    I did try to update the firmware (as attached by you) in my Windows 7 system and the Firmware Updates without any issue.
