Why the thickness of first layer is different from second layer, and the thickness of 5st layer is different from 6st layer.

Hi,

Layer 1 and Layer 6 contains impedance controlled traces and layer 2 and 5 are the reference layers for the traces.

What kind of 4835 should we buy, 1 oz or 0.5 oz?

The material used is the Rogers 4835 4mils Low Pro dielectric. . TI mmWave BoosterPack designs use a 0.5 oz base copper on the top
layer.
